Key features of the integration 

• Quickly access SmartRecruiters candidate profiles while interviewing them on Hellohire.
• Automatically add candidates who register for a Hellohire Interview to your SmartRecruiters account.
• Update SmartRecruiters candidate profiles with the name candidates provide when registering for a Hellohire Interview.

How to setup the integration

NOTE: The Hellohire SmartRecruiters integration is not available with the free version of SmartRecruiters.

1. Log in to https://www.tryhellohire.com.
2. In the menu in the top right corner go to “Manage Organization”.
3. In the left menu go to “Integrations”.
4. Toggle the SmartRecruiters Integration from “Off” to “On”.
   
5. You will be asked to log into your SmartRecruiters account. Log in and provide permission to Hellohire.
   
   

Setting: Create and update candidate profile in SmartRecruiters

If you would like candidates who register for your Hellohire Interviews to be added to your SmartRecruiters talent pool, set the “Create and update candidate profile in SmartRecruiters” option to “On”.

If there is already a candidate with the email and last name in your talent pool, turning on this setting updates the candidate’s first name if a different first name is provided.

Integration workflow 

Viewing a candidate’s SmartRecruiters profile

1. Join a Hellohire Interview as a member of a hiring team 
2. In one on one interviews, the “View in SmartRecruiters” option is available under the candidate’s name.
   
3. Clicking the “View in SmartRecruiters” link opens the candidate’s SmartRecruiters profile in a new browser tab

NOTE: For your interviewers to have access to view candidates' profiles in SmartRecruiters please make sure that they have access to the SmartRecruiters talent pool or that the candidates are already on the jobs where they are on the hiring team.

Viewing tags on a candidate’s SmartRecuiters profile

When a candidate is interviewed, a “Yes”, “Maybe”, or “No” rating can be provided to indicate their fit for the role. A tag is added to their profile in SmartRecruiters with the rating. 

The tag uses the following format: “hellohire - {{interview}} - {{rating}}”. If a candidate is interviewed in an Interview named “CSR” and provided with a “Yes” rating, the tag “hellohire - csr - yes” is added to their profile.

2. In SmartRecruiters, view the tags on the candidate profile
