Disconnected Before or During the Interview? Here’s What to Do

We know how frustrating tech issues can be — especially when you're about to have an important interview! If you got disconnected before or during your interview, don’t worry. Here’s what you can do to get back on track quickly.


If You Got Disconnected While Waiting for the Interviewer:

1. Try refreshing the page and rejoining the interview link.


This usually helps resolve most connection issues right away.


2. Using your phone?


Be sure to stay on the interview page. Switching apps or tabs can sometimes cause a disconnection.

3. For the best experience:


We recommend using a laptop or desktop, if you can. If you're on a mobile device, just stay on the waiting screen without navigating away until your interviewer joins.


If You Got Disconnected During the Interview:


1. Refresh the page and try rejoining the interview.


In most cases, you’ll be able to reconnect right away and pick up where you left off.


2. Still can’t get back in?


No problem — just reach out to your interviewer or employer to let them know. They understand that these things happen and will help you reconnect or reschedule.
