Automations in Hellohire help streamline your hiring workflow by saving you time on repetitive tasks like scheduling, follow-ups, and status-based communications. With just a few clicks, you can set up automatic emails and interview scheduling triggers based on candidate outcomes—so nothing falls through the cracks.
Here’s how to set it up:
Step 1: Log in to Your Hellohire Account
Go to https://www.tryhellohire.com and log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Go to the Jobs Section
Click “Jobs” in the upper left corner of your screen.
Step 3: Select the Job
Choose the job for which you’d like to configure automations.
Step 4: Open the Automations Tab
Click on the “Automations” tab to begin setting up your automation rules.
Step 5: Set Up Automations
Automate Next Interview Scheduling:
If you want to automatically invite candidates to their next interview after a successful outcome:
1. Toggle on “Automated Next Interview Scheduling.”
2. From the dropdown, select the next job to link for interview scheduling.
3. Click “Save.”
4. Once enabled, candidates marked as “Yes” will receive a prompt to schedule their next interview automatically.
Automate Emails Based on Interview Outcome:
You can also automate emails triggered by interview status or outcome. Just toggle on any of the following options and customize the message:
1. Select the automation type you'd like to activate (e.g., 'Yes', 'No', 'Maybe', etc.).
2. Add an email subject and write your email content in the body field.
3. Click “Save.”

- Automated 'Yes' Email
- Automated 'No' Email
- Automated 'Maybe' Email
- Automated 'Hired' Email
- Automated 'Scheduled' Email
- Automated 'No Show' Custom Email
- Automated 'No Show' Reschedule Email
- Automated 'Not Interviewed' Email
- Automated 'Disqualified' Email
Note: You can toggle on as many automation types as needed and customize each one individually.
