How to Create or Add a Job

Let’s get your next great hire rolling! With just a few quick steps, you can create a job, set your interview type, and personalize the experience for your candidates.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating/Adding a Job

Step 1: Log in to Your Hellohire Account


    Got to https://www.tryhellohire.com and log in using your email and password.

Step 2: Go to the Jobs Section


    From the main dashboard, click “Jobs” located in the upper-left corner. 



Step 3: Click “Add Job”


    Click the “Add Job” button to start a new job posting.


Step 4: Fill in Job Details


1. Job Title: Enter the name of the role you're hiring for.


2. Interview Type: Choose from the following options:

a. Virtual – Candidates will receive a link to join an online interview if qualified.
b. In-person – Candidates will be required to attend the interview at your physical office.


3. Click “Save” once all information is entered.


Step 5: Customize the Job Workflow


After saving your job, click on it to access additional customization options. These features allow you to tailor the interview process to your needs:


1. Engage Messages: Edit or personalize the email and SMS/Text Message communications sent to candidates.


2. Pre-screen Questions: Add screening questions to help determine if candidates are qualified to move forward to the interview stage.


3. Scheduling: Set your availability and connect your calendar for seamless scheduling.


4. Welcome & Waiting Videos: Upload videos to enhance the candidate experience—such as a warm welcome message or a short video while they wait for the interview to begin.


5. Required Documents: Attach documents that candidates must upload or submit (e.g., valid government ID, ID number etc.).


6. Automations: Enable or update automation flows for interview invites, reminders, and more.


7. Reschedule limit: Set how many times a candidate is allowed to reschedule their interview.


That’s it! You’ve now created and customized a job in Hellohire. You’re ready to start engaging candidates and scheduling interviews with ease.
