Can a Candidate Reschedule Their Interview via the Scheduling Page Link?

Modified on Thu, Apr 23 at 3:06 PM

A candidate’s interview status in Hellohire determines whether they can self-reschedule using the scheduling link or if rescheduling must be handled by your team through the management app.

How Candidates Can Reschedule

Candidates can reschedule their interview using the link provided in their confirmation email labelled:
“Can’t make it? Cancel or reschedule your interview.”

This link allows them to cancel their current booking and choose a new time from available slots.

If needed, your team can also reschedule the interview on the candidate’s behalf through the Hellohire management app.

1. Candidates with a Cancelled Interview

Yes — rescheduling is available via the scheduling link.

When an interview is cancelled, the candidate’s status updates to Cancelled, and the scheduling page will:

  • Display available interview slots
  • Allow the candidate to select and book a new interview time

2. Candidates with an Upcoming Interview

No — they cannot book a new interview directly through the scheduling page.

When a candidate already has an upcoming scheduled interview, the scheduling page will:

  • Display their confirmed interview details
  • Not show options to book a new time

To make changes in this scenario:

  • The candidate should use the rescheduling link in their confirmation email to cancel and select a new time, or
  • Your team can reschedule the interview for them using the management app
