The Automated "Maybe" Email allows Hellohire to automatically notify candidates when they receive a "Maybe" interview outcome.
This automation helps recruiters keep candidates informed while they are still under consideration, eliminating the need to send follow-up emails manually.
What is the Automated "Maybe" Email?
The Automated "Maybe" Email sends an email to candidates when they are assigned a "Maybe" outcome in Hellohire.
The email uses the template configured for your organization and can include updates about the candidate's application, expected next steps, or any additional information you want to share while the hiring decision is pending.

When is the Automated "Maybe" Email Sent?
The email is sent when a candidate's interview outcome is changed to "Maybe".
This applies whether the outcome is updated:
- Manually by a recruiter.
Once the candidate is marked as "Maybe", Hellohire evaluates the automation and sends the email if the Automated "Maybe" Email is enabled.
Is the Email Sent More Than Once?
No.
The Automated "Maybe" Email is sent only once when the candidate receives the "Maybe" outcome.
If the candidate's outcome remains "Maybe", the same automated email will not be sent again.
What Happens If the Automation Is Disabled?
If the Automated "Maybe" Email is disabled, Hellohire will not send an email when a candidate receives a "Maybe" outcome.
Recruiters can still contact candidates manually if they wish to provide updates.
The Automated "Maybe" Email provides a consistent way to communicate with candidates who are still being considered, ensuring they receive timely updates whenever they are assigned a "Maybe" outcome.
