We're sorry to see you go! If you’re thinking about canceling your Hellohire subscription, we want to make the process as smooth as possible for you. Below are the steps you’ll need to follow before we can officially close your account.
Step 1: Archive All Your Jobs
To begin the cancellation process, please archive all active jobs on your Hellohire dashboard. Archiving ensures that your job postings are no longer live and that applicants aren’t continuing to apply. Once your jobs are archived, any upcoming interviews associated with those jobs will be automatically cancelled too.
How to Archive a Job:
1. Log in to your Hellohire account: https://www.tryhellohire.com
2. Go to your Jobs tab.
3. Click the three dots (⋮) next to each active job.
4. Type archive to proceed.
5. Click "Archive".
Step 3: Disconnect Applicant Sources
If you’ve connected Hellohire with job boards like Indeed, Apploi, Hireology, or CareerPlug, you’ll need to disconnect them. This ensures we stop receiving new applicant data and keeps things tidy on your end.
How to Disconnect Applicant Sources:
1. Click the dropdown in the top-right corner of your screen.
2. Select Manage organization > Integrations.
3. In the Integrations section, click the dropdown to view all connected applicant sources (e.g., Indeed, Apploi, Hireology, CareerPlug etc.).
4. Find the source you want to disconnect and toggle the "Enabled" switch off to deactivate the integration.
For example, in this case, it's Apploi—click "Disconnect" and toggle "Enabled" off.
Step 4: Export Any Data You Need
Once we finalize your cancellation, you’ll lose access to your account and its data — including past interviews, candidate information, and job history. If you’d like to keep any of this data, now’s the time to export it!
How to Export:
1. In the top-right corner of your screen, click "Jobs", then select the job from which you want to export candidates.
2. From the left-hand menu, click "Candidates".
3. Use the Export button to download the data you want to keep.
Note: You can use the filter to select the data you want to export and specify the time period it covers
Step 5: Drop Us a Message!
Once you’ve completed the steps above, just send a quick email to your Account Manager or email us at support@tryhellohire.com. We’ll take care of the final cancellation on our end and confirm when it's done.
